Pelvic Peace ("we," "us," "our") operates a Telegram-based wellness education service featuring Pat, our AI pelvic health coach. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. General Wellness Service — Not Healthcare

Pelvic Peace is a general wellness education service, not a healthcare provider, medical device, or clinical service. We are not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under HIPAA and do not collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Pelvic Peace provides general wellness education only — not medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Information provided should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide our service:

• Telegram account info — your Telegram user ID, plus the first name and username your Telegram profile provides, used to identify your conversation
• Message content — your conversations with Pat, our AI coach, processed by AI to generate responses
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store your credit card details
• Usage data — message timestamps, basic behavioral/funnel events, and service usage patterns

We do not collect: email addresses, physical addresses, social security numbers, medical records, insurance information, diagnoses, prescriptions, lab results, or any Protected Health Information (PHI).

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide pelvic health wellness education via Telegram
• To maintain your conversation history for context continuity
• To manage your credit balance and process payments
• To improve our wellness education content and service quality
• To send service-related notifications (e.g., low credit alerts)

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or sell it to third parties for any purpose.

5. AI Processing

Your messages are processed by artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate Pat's responses. Your message content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.

6. Messaging

Pelvic Peace is delivered through Telegram. By messaging Pat, you consent to exchange messages with us related to pelvic health and wellness education.

• Message frequency varies based on your usage
• You can stop at any time by ending the conversation or blocking the bot
• You can permanently delete all of your data by sending /deleteme to Pat

We will never share your Telegram information with third parties for marketing purposes. It is used solely to deliver the Pelvic Peace service.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Service providers — we use Telegram (message delivery), Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), OpenAI (voice transcription and speech), and Anthropic (AI processing) to operate our service. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process
• Safety — if necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public

8. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your conversation history and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete all of your data instantly, yourself, by sending /deleteme to Pat on Telegram. You may also request deletion by emailing support@pelvicpeace.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"; we process emailed requests within 30 days.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Stop messaging at any time, or instantly delete all your data by sending /deleteme to Pat
• Request a copy of your personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

11. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know — you can request what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you
• Right to Delete — you can request deletion of your personal information
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights
• No Sale of Data — we do not sell your personal information to third parties

12. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a revised "Last updated" date.
