2. General Wellness Service — Not Healthcare

Pelvic Peace is a general wellness education service, not a healthcare provider, medical device, or clinical service. We are not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under HIPAA and do not collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Pelvic Peace provides general wellness education only — not medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Information provided should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide our service:

• Phone number — used to send and receive text messages
• Message content — your conversations with Pat, our AI coach, processed by AI to generate responses
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store your credit card details
• Usage data — credit balance, message timestamps, and service usage patterns

We do not collect: names, email addresses, physical addresses, social security numbers, medical records, insurance information, diagnoses, prescriptions, lab results, or any Protected Health Information (PHI).

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide pelvic health wellness education via SMS
• To maintain your conversation history for context continuity
• To manage your credit balance and process payments
• To improve our wellness education content and service quality
• To send service-related notifications (e.g., low credit alerts)

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or sell it to third parties for any purpose.

5. AI Processing

Your messages are processed by artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate Pat's responses. Your message content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.

6. SMS Messaging

By texting Pat, you consent to receive SMS messages from us related to pelvic health and wellness education. Key details:

• Message frequency varies based on your usage
• Message and data rates may apply
• Text STOP at any time to opt out of messages
• Text HELP for assistance
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

We will never share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to deliver the Pelvic Peace service.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Service providers — we use Twilio (SMS delivery), Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), and Anthropic (AI processing) to operate our service. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process
• Safety — if necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public

8. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your conversation history and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@pelvicpeace.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP
• Request a copy of your personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

11. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Delete — you can request deletion of your personal information
